Tom Sawyer Island

Tom Sawyer Island has been a part of the Magic Kingdom since it opened on October 1, 1971, however many Guests don’t bother to explore the island. This is due to the need to take a raft across the Rivers of America to reach the location, making it perpetually quiet. Tom Sawyer Island boasts caves to explore, bridges to cross, quiet winding paths, a fort, and even comfortable seating overlooking the water. With low crowds no matter the day, Tom Sawyer Island may take some effort to reach, but it is the ultimate spot to enjoy a quiet break in the Magic Kingdom.
