Guests who visit the Walt Disney World Resort love to spend lots of time at EPCOT enjoying all that the Disney Park has to offer. With so much to do and see in EPCOT, the main pathways and areas can be very crowded at times. Luckily, Guests who are looking for quiet spots have several great choices to enjoy when they need a break. Let’s check out these quiet spots throughout EPCOT that are perfect for a break anytime.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends

The Seas with Nemo and Friends is a massive pavilion in World Nature that is home to an attraction of the same name as well as two floors of animal habitats and exhibits. While some areas of the exhibits can be busier, like Bruce’s Shark World, others are almost always quiet and calm. The second level of The Seas with Nemo and Friends features a walkway that opens into a large circular viewing area where Guests can take in some of the most spectacular scenes of sea life. With cool blue tones from the water, calming music, and dim lighting, this area is one of the best spots to enjoy some quiet in EPCOT.

Sunshine Seasons Seating Areas

Sunshine Seasons is a quick service restaurant located on the lower level of The Land Pavilion between Soarin’ Around the World and Living with the Land. While the restaurant can be busy during main mealtimes, there are often plenty of empty tables throughout the day where Guests can soak in the ambiance of The Land Pavilion. Those looking for some serious quiet should head over to the seating area to the right of Living with the Land which is slightly tucked behind a corner and nearly always empty. It’s the perfect place to relax at a table in air conditioning when needing a quiet break in EPCOT.

Behind Journey into Imagination with Figment

Journey into Imagination with Figment is an attraction that welcomes Guests into the Imagination Institute where they can explore their senses in new and exciting ways with the loveable purple dragon. While the attraction is bright and colorful, there is a nearby spot that offers up a calm alternative. When looking at the main entrance of the attraction, Guests can continue along the right-hand side of the building around to the back where there is a small open courtyard, bathroom, and several benches that are always quiet.

Morocco Pavilion Streets

The Morrocco Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase features beautiful architecture and culture that transports Guests across the globe. Since the main dining and shopping areas are located near World Showcase Lagoon in the front of the pavilion, Guests who wander through the streets to the rear of the area are greeted with quiet corners and a beautiful fountain. These back streets are often so quiet that it is easy to forget that the main pathway of World Showcase is only steps away!

Japan Pavilion Exhibit

The Japan Pavilion in World Showcase is a favorite of many Guests thanks to its several dining options that serve up authentic Japanese cuisine and the popular Mitshukoshi Department Store. While the front of the pavilion is usually bustling with activity, Guests who proceed to the rear of the area can find Bijutsu-kan, an indoor gallery that features a rotation of exhibits that highlight Japanese culture. The gallery is often quiet and offers Guests the chance to sit in air conditioning and relax while learning about Japanese culture.

UK Pavilion Gardens

Moving further along in World Showcase is the UK Pavilion which features several charming shops and the boisterous Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room. Guests who take the time to wander to the very back of the pavilion can find a calm and serene area that offers up seating and the chance to explore. A small garden maze exists in the back with a gazebo in the center where Guests can sit and relax while enjoying the ambiance of the UK Pavilion. While the setting is serene, it can occasionally be noisy if there is a musical performance occurring on the nearby stage.

Canada Pavilion Waterfall

The final quiet spot to enjoy in EPCOT can be found in the very rear of the Canada Pavilion. Accessible by a lower path near Le Cellier Steakhouse as well as an upper path past Trading Post, the rear of the pavilion features a massive rock work front with a flowing waterfall. There are several spots to stop along the path and enjoy the beautiful show of nature, and many Guests don’t take the time to wander all the way to the rear making it a great quiet spot in EPCOT.
