Throughout the Walt Disney World Resort there are plenty of beautiful things to look at including everything from architecture to landscaping. While there is no shortage of beauty all around, there are some views that can be found throughout the property that are unforgettable. From sweeping vistas to silly waterworks, here are some of the best views to enjoy while in Walt Disney World.
Expedition Everest’s Lift Hill

Starting off the list is an expansive view from Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This thrilling attraction beings Guests high into the mountain via a steep hill that offers panoramic views on all sides. To the right are views of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, to the left are EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and behind in the distance is Magic Kingdom.

Swiss Family Treehouse

Another stunning view that Guests must work for can be found at the very top of the Swiss Family Treehouse in the Magic Kingdom. After climbing several flights of stairs, Guests are rewarded with beautiful views of the Magic Kingdom including Cinderella Castle. Those who look even further to the right can spot Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the distance as well.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Drop

Over in Frontierland in the Magic Kingdom is a view that Guests can enjoy very briefly before plunging into the bayou below. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a musical adventure that ends with a thrilling drop down over five stories. At the very top of the drop is a brief pause that offers stunning views across the Rivers of America to Cinderella Castle. It’s a unique perspective of the Magic Kingdom that only the brave get to see!

California Grill’s Terrace

California Grill is a popular table service restaurant at the very top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Open for dinner only, the menu focuses on contemporary American cuisine served in an upscale, modern interior. Guests can enjoy beautiful views of Seven Seas Lagoon, the Magic Kingdom, and surrounding Disney Resorts through large floor to ceiling windows, but the better view is from outside. A large terrace offers an unobstructed view of the area as well as glimpses of EPCOT to the left. Guests who venture out to the terrace at the right time can enjoy both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT fireworks, making it an unforgettable view.

Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera

Another restaurant that offers beautiful views can be found at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera features a French and Italian-inspired menu in an opulent dining room. Since the restaurant is situated on the top floor of the Disney Resort, Guests can step out onto a terrace complete with a lounge and soak in views of Disney’s Riviera Resort, Barefoot Bay, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in the sunshine. During dinner, the view becomes even more magical with lights from the area twinkling off the water.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Elevator Shaft

Guests who are courageous and can handle big thrills can enjoy a fast, but stunning view of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror brings Guests into another dimension via a service elevator. During the randomized drop sequence, each elevator briefly pauses at the very top of the building and the exterior doors open to reveal a panoramic view of the Disney Park. It’s a very brief moment, but Guests who look quickly can enjoy spotting popular areas and attractions in each direction.

Backside of Scwheitzer Falls

The Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom has long been a classic and favorite attraction of many Guests thanks to its exotic scenery and groan-worthy jokes. During the adventure down exotic rivers of the world, Guests pass behind the iconic backside of water for a misty view that helps make the attraction iconic. Schweitzer Falls is named after Dr. Albert Falls who founded the Jungle Navigation Company, and the Skippers create such excitement about the view that it has become one of the best in Walt Disney World.
Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight

The final view that cannot be missed at Walt Disney World is by far the most impressive. Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight is a massive hot air balloon in Disney Springs that brings Guests four hundred feet in the air to offer panoramic views of Walt Disney World. During the eight-minute flight, Guests can circle the entire balloon and look in each direction to spot the Disney Parks, attractions, Disney Resorts, and even the greater Orlando area. It’s an unforgettable view that can be enjoyed both during the daytime and once the sun sets!
