A great game that many Guests love to play at the Walt Disney World Resort is hunting for Hidden Mickeys. These hidden characters typically look like Mickey, but sometimes can also take the appearance of other favorite friends including Minnie, Donald, Tinkerbell, and more. A classic Hidden Mickey features three concentric circles that form the outline of Mickey’s head, but others can be found in profile, or even full silhouette. What makes hunting for Hidden Mickeys so fun is that they can be found literally everywhere throughout Walt Disney World and can range from obvious to extremely difficult to spot. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Kicking off the hunt in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the attraction that is home to the most Hidden Mickeys in all of Walt Disney World. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railroad is home to dozens of Hidden Mickeys that can be found throughout both the queue and the ride and everywhere from décor to fireworks. Literally every room and scene of the attraction features several Hidden Mickeys, and Guests should be sure to look all around them on each ride to spot new ones! A great place to start is by looking at the lighting in the lobby area of the queue!

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror on Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers Guests the chance to step into another dimension with several Hidden Mickeys along the way. The attraction is well-known for its immense attention to detail, and Guests who take the time to soak it all in can spot several Hidden Mickeys. Be sure to pay attention to the little girl in the pre-show video, flashing lights just before the drop sequence, and a special piece of sheet music in the library.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

Also found on Sunset Boulevard is Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith which brings Guests on a tour of G-Force Records where the band is in the studio recording. The attraction is home to several Hidden Mickeys including a large one that can be found on the floor of the recording studio and several on a corkboard hanging in the alleyway.

Slinky Dog Dash

Toy Story Land is home to so many amazing details that bring Andy’s backyard to life, and Guests who take the time to explore can also spot some Hidden Mickeys. A great option can be found in the queue for Slinky Dog Dash just before boarding the attraction itself. Behind the loading area is a large drawing of the attraction’s design made by Andy, and Guests who pay particular attention to the clouds can spot a familiar shape!

Muppet*Vision 3D

One of the most hysterical experiences in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Muppet*Vision 3D in the Grand Avenue area of the Disney Park. This immersive theater show brings the humor of the Muppets to life using 3D effects and groan-worthy jokes with several Hidden Mickeys along the way. Guests should be on the lookout for a testing pattern on the televisions in the pre-show, Mickey balloons at the very end of the show, and a silly appearance of Rizzo pretending to be another famous mouse.

Also in the Grand Avenue area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, a table service restaurant that serves up authentic Italian cuisine infused with the flavors of California. The décor of the restaurant is very quirky and filled with Hollywood memorabilia and unique items including a dalmatian statue near the check-in stand. Guests who look closely at the dog’s spots might just find a classic Hidden Mickey!

The final Hidden Mickey on the list to find in Disney’s Hollywood Studios can be found on the queue of Star Tours – The Adventure Continues. Guests enter a transportation hub that services all corners of the galaxy and in one room can find a screen depicting shadows of various passengers moving around. Guests who pay close attention to this screen can spot a droid wearing some very familiar headgear!
